There were lately some extra-terrestrial activity around Ruins with an UFO that has been seen, and the zombies will not take it likely. They may be brain-eating, and dumbstruck no-use-Zombies, but no one messes with their food… So they are busy gathering at Ruins and have great enthusiasm to kick some Aliens A$$…

So be part of this fun filled day at Ruins Paintball field. If you want to play with your friends in the same team you all must then be dressed the same as a Zombie or Alien.

There will be prizes for the best-dressed Zombie or Alien, and everybody there will vote for their favourite costume.

There will be Two Teams: Zombies and Aliens.
Teams will be at random, unless you are dressed up for the event then only you will draw your colour when you pay the entrance fee.
NO TEAM SWAPPING PLEASE, this is for the FUN of the game and will defeat the objective of the game.

Day Invasion Objectives: (14:20 – 16:20)
Secure strategic points:
The Day Invasion game will consist of 3 points that need to be captured and defended. The side with the most points take the day game and they can then decide where their base must be. Grave Yard or the Bush Base.

These three points will not be shown to any of the teams and they must search for it, and activate the point. Once the Point has been activated it must be defended and they must stop the other team from deactivating the point. The points that have been captured will be a starting point for your team. But there may only be 3 players at that starting point in the Night Invasion.

(Example: 2 Points = 6 Players in the field, or 3 Points = 9 Players in the field. 1 Point = 2 Players)

Random Fun Games and Braai: (16:20 – 19:00)
In this time we will be preparing the field for the night game, but there will be fun games on the other fields

Night Invasion Objectives: (19:00 – 21:00)
Secure strategic points:

There will be five points with two colours of light. At the start of the game the lights will be turned off except one light. Every 30 minutes a new light will be switched on randomly. To gain that Strategic Points, one of your team members must turn on your colour light and the other teams light off.

The winning team will be determined at the end of the Night Game with the team who has the most Strategic Points out of 3.

Rules:
You may only use ONE Box of paint for the night and one for the Day (4000 paintballs for those who don’t know how many paintballs are in a box.)
There are no Paint Checks so when you feel a shot and you are not sure if it broke or not, take the hit and move back to your base. It’s not as if it’s the end of your game.
REMEMBER to bring a FLASH LIGHT
When you have taken a shot you must retreat with your flash light on and your marker in the air to your base/safe area and clean your mask to play again. (NOT a Strategic point on the field!!!)
REMEMBER to bring a FLASH LIGHT
Marker speed must be turned down to 250 at night and 280 for the day.
You may NOT attack the Base/Safe Area or ambush a player coming out of the Base/Safe Area.
NO Flanking bases.
NO Climbing Fences.
NO Shooting in the direction of the N1.
NO Flashing sharp Lights to traffic on N1.
DEAD MEN DO NOT TALK!!
FRIENDLY FIRE COUNTS!!!!
Glowsticks will be located at the back of your helmet or on your markers barrel at the very front. Secure with tape with a minimum of 3cm exposed. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Glowsticks may NOT be covered intentionally at all!!!

If we notice that at side is being overpower and losing a lot of players that are leaving the game due to responsibilities and other problems, we will equalize the teams again, but by moving team players that are not dressed to theme across to the other team, to equalize numbers.
